Sign up now to take part in Run Army from anywhere in the World!

Sign up, time your own run or walk, then upload your results. Why not purchase some Run Army merchandise here to wear and event reward yourself with a finisher medal! Coordinated locations and times for several locations around Australia will be emailed to virtual run participants closer to the event so you can even run it with other Run Army virtual runners and walkers.

We would love you to join us, to support our services and the families of our fallen and injured veterans.

  3. Upload your run to Strava, Garmin, or any other online platform which shows a record/summary of your completed distance and time.
  4. Once your run is complete and uploaded to your selected online platform submit your result through the link emailed to all competitors.
  5. Upload a photo of your completed run results and record your finish time and submit your finish time by following the prompts.
  6. You’ll receive your finishers certificate on Sunday night, with results announced after the final satellite event event is held – by 12pm Thursday 25 April!
  7. Download your finisher certificate & tag us in your Facebook and Instagram photos with #RunArmy.

The Virtual Run result submission portal is now open and closes Wednesday 24 April at midnight.

Do I need to wear my bib?

Participants will receive a downloadable bib which can be printed off and worn when completing your run. It is not compulsory to wear your bib, but we encourage running with it to feel part of the Run Army community. It is also a great way to acknowledge the sacrifices made by our soldiers in the lead up to ANZAC Day.

What if I’m in the Army?

A number of Army bases have chosen to take part in the virtual run together. Have a look to see if your barracks or unit is signed up. If they are, you can join their group and receive information from local organisers (please note that Brisbane and Townsville are the only Run Army planned events open to public participation). If you can’t find them or want to host a virtual event on behalf of your unit or barracks contact [email protected].

Need help getting ready?

Keep an eye out for the Official 8 week training guide which will be emailed to your inbox and available online here. This program is designed to help runners of all abilities to get ready for the event. Don’t forget to take a selfie and tag @runarmyau!
